As per Pharmacy Act Section 34, all Pharmacist should renew their registration before 31st December every year. The entire process of registration renewal could be completed from the website by paying the stipulated fees and submitted the required documents. The renewal of registration could be done from the profile page. For this, the pharmacist has to log in to his/her profile and click on “Renewals”, in case the registration is due for renewal, it would be highlighted. Just click and follow the instructions
Additional qualification A registered pharmacist can acquire higher qualification related to pharmacy and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India. A certificate of additional qualification can be obtained from the council. Just log in to your profile and click on “Update qualification”, you would be prompted to submit the scanned copy of the following. Additional Qualification cannot be applied with Provisional Certificate.
Self-attested copy of registration certificate issued by the HPSPC Original certificate of the newly acquired qualification for registration Course certificate in original Final year original mark list of the newly acquired qualification Duplicate certificate A lost/spoiled certificate should be immediately reported to the council from the profile page. A FIR copy or affidavit from the first-class judicial magistrate should be submitted to the council. The certificate thence issued would carry the word "DUPLICATE" and fees to be paid for the same.
Change of certificate The old registration certificate issued by the HPSPC will be replaced with the new model high security certificate with hologram, as per the provisions in the west bengal State Pharmacy Council Rules. Registered pharmacists possessing the old format of pharmacy registration certificate can change their certificate to new format. The Council will issue high security certificate and identity card on the receipt of an application along with the old registration certificate and ID card in original with one passport size photo along with fees.
Identity card The pharmacists who practice in the state of West Bengal should wear ID card issued by the WBPC. This identity card can be received from the council by paying Rs.100/- Pharmacist can apply for ID card in a prescribed form. The validity of ID card will be 5 years. Check out the profile page and download the same. The download option would be enabled once the prescribed fees has been paid to the council.
